Do you think a prejudiced man should be in congress?

As part of the Pagan Unity Campaign, I sent out letters stating that I

was pagan and a voter to my government representatives. I got this

e-mail in response and I'm calling to all pagans and atheists to get

this man out of NC Congress. Because frankly if you can't at least act

tolerant you shouldn't be in a position of power.

Stephanie,

Jesus is the only answer.

People elected to Congress or any office, are products of their environments. Just as you have your thoughts and prejudices, so do they. (Hey, we're all human.) And, like you, they are entitled to them. If you do not like his/hers, work to get him/her removed.

Until then, let them be human.

If you live in the 24th district of Ohio please vote for me I will be running as a Republican and a pagan.

    Now that being said.

He chose his path and as he looks backwards he sees only one path. As I look backwards on mine I see several but I followed a much different path then he did.

He may not be prejudiced, he is just looking backwards upon his path. And seeing only the one he took.

Personally, I don't find his response to be too terrible. Sure it's a bit biased, but he didn't overreact. Out of line for a public official? I'd say so, but there's plenty of folks who wouldn't.

If you want to vote him out, go ahead. But I don't put a lot of stock into PUC's mailing campaign.

If he was elected he should be there until he loses an election.
