Avatar question?

Go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/ and sign in (if you're not already). You can make an avatar image there. If you need help with making the avatar, follow instructions at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/avatars/ Your avatar is currently a grayed out man/woman because it's the default image. You don't need to save to favorites, just clicking the "Save Changes" button is sufficient.

When you get your avatar image done, come back to Yahoo! Answers. Click "My Profile" to the upper right of most Yahoo! Answers pages, then click "Edit My Info" in the top left box on the Answers profile page. Choose your avatar in the pic section. Click save.

You can use http://avatars.yahoo.com/ to create an image or, if you’re already at Yahoo Answers, go to your profile. Click on the words "My Profile" at the upper right hand side of the page; then, when it takes you there, click "Edit My Info.” Then there will be an option for “Use my avatar” or something like that. If you haven’t created one at http://avatars.yahoo.com/ then it will give you the option to create one right away.

It won’t be visible right away, I remember mine wasn’t, but if it doesn’t show up quickly then go back to the “Edit My Info” page and make sure you clicked the slot that says you wanted to use an avatar. If you want a personalized photo, then you need. to have a 360 account.

In Yahoo Answers, go to My Profile, click on edit on info, then scroll down until you see use/edit my avatar and your avatar should show up. :)

Well maybe you just need to start over and go to http://avatars.yahoo.com/
