What is the difference b/w I.T and COMPUTER SCIENCE trades of engineering?

Plz say the difference b/w it and cs branches of engineering

whats the difference b/w them in syllabus

    My simplified view is that IT is computer operation whereas CS is computer programming. IT programs vary a lot, but many are weighted with business courses. CS will be almost always heavily weighted with math coursework.
