I wouldn't waste much time or money on these products. It is probably a prohormone, something molecularly smilair to testosterone or which it is theorized your body will convert into testosterone (testosterone is the #1 illegal steriod). You may have heard of androstenendione--this is probably a similair product-- the problem with these is that in some studies they have been shown to do the opposite of what they are supposed to, the chemicals end up upping estrogen levels, which is the opposite of what you want. And if it were to really work like an anabolic steriod, you'd be exposing yourself to all the same health risks. Link:

Remember that magazines like Muscle and Fitness are really just giant catalogs designed to sell you as much ovepriced stuff as possible, most of which is completely uneccessary and some of it is potentially harmful. All you really need as far as supplements is some $15 whey protein from Walmart, or if you want to get really fancy, a little glutamine and creatine, also available cheap at walmart.
