Has anyone attended Wyotech and what did you think about it?

I leave in about 3 weeks to go to school at the Laramie Campus and would like to know some more information the program. I have a few questions.

What was the program like?

Did you enjoy it?

Was it everything they say it is?

What are some of the career oppurtunities you have had?

If there are any employers that have current wyotech grads employed how are they doing? Do they seem knowledgable? etc.......

a good site for you to go to is automotivemanagementnetwork.com (I don't know why, but when I post this message, the m at the end of com dissapears!)

which is a forum for shop owners and employees to talk about stuff in the business. I would suggest asking shop owners and managers what they think of hiring people out of school, specifically wyotech. Many shops do hire people out of school. They would be able to tell you why they hire those people, and some things that they would like to see as well. Most shops hire them as entry level mechanics, even though they have gone to school. They still don't have the same hands on experience as others, so you could get a good idea of what to work on as well as going to school.

I am sure you can also find people who have gone to school there and what they think. Good luck.
