I am just wondering if it is bad for me to miss her 6th birthday? My ex and I was only together for 2 years and her daughter was with us the entire time. She did start to call me dad also. But then our relationship fell apart and now my ex and her daughter moved to another state. Well we have been broken up for almost 1 year now and she was wanting me to show up for her daughter's birthday party. Is it wrong or a bad idea if I do? I mean my ex and I still get along and we communicate regularly. Also, is it wrong or bad if I don't show up for her birthday? I don't know what to do? I don't want to give her daughter the impression that we are getting back together. As I want to move on with my life.

I have a 2nd cousing who is about 4 and he is saying that people visit him and past relatives visit him? The most recent and most freaky is that he just recently said that my grandfather his great-grandfather who died in 1981 has been visiting him and talking to him. We just had a family reunion and on the way there his asked where we were going and after we told him he said that he remembered it because his great grandpa took him there and showed it to him. He has even described what my grandfather looks like without seeing any pictures of him. Has anyone else experienced anything like this or what should I do? I don't want to discourage his ability and I think he should perhaps expand on his ability.

I just bought a 99 Grand Prix Gt and when I turn the air on it blows cold on the passenger side and not as cold on the drivers side. When I close off the vents on the passenger side then my side cools down just a little but not as cold as the passenger side. Do I need to have my A/C recharged or do I need to replace something like a blower moter resistor or something like that? A little puzzled here......

I had a credit card with a balance of $300 that unfortunetly did not get paid. The balance then rose to above $1000, however, that credit card company charged my account off and sold the debt to another company whom did not disclose to me any of their finance charges or terms of payment prior to taking me to court. Now they want to collect almost $1500 from me when the bought the account for an incredibaly lesser amount. If I go to court is there any way I can only pay them what they bought the account for plus the 9% interest they are charging instead of what the credit card company charged off? Or am I not obligated to pay this company because I did not originally owe the debt with them but with credit card company who charged it off and stopped pursueing me?.....PLEASE HELP! COURT IS ON THE 18th!

I leave in about 3 weeks to go to school at the Laramie Campus and would like to know some more information the program. I have a few questions.

What was the program like?

Did you enjoy it?

Was it everything they say it is?

What are some of the career oppurtunities you have had?

If there are any employers that have current wyotech grads employed how are they doing? Do they seem knowledgable? etc.......

I am interested in doing so, but I have not found any information on how to do it. Supposedly a person receives a $200,000 grant to fund their election campaign. Does any know if that is true?

Scenario: Say somewhere in one of the regions of the US a group of people started to protest about the conditions of the poor, the cost of gasoline, the lack of money in the market today and they decided to start rioting and eventually spread to the beginning of a revolution or civil war. There ideas are as follows:

Establish a society based on National Pride

Do away with congress and have a public voting system by technology.

Provide free healthcare to all workers.

Abolish the Income tax laws, but increase the sales tax to compensate.

Set price caps on natural resources, i.e Gasoline, propane, natural gas, or government control of the utility network.

Free education including college level bachelor's degrees. Master's and up would require paying for.

Concentrate on literature, art, mathmatics, science and engineering as core values.......

You can feel free to add anything else you can think of........explain why or why not you would join?

With today's technologies why can't we get rid of the heavily influenced, overpaid, and lazy congress. Why don't we just allow the people to truly vote via either the internet/phone/or T.V. system all computer controlled and able to have the results posted almost immediatly. This would prevent some of the blunders we have ran into now. Plus it would prevent congress from being influenced by money or power. Then maybe we can show the president who is really in control!

How can we do it? We all know we will still continue putting gas in our cars and we all know we will still follow the flock of sheep on this Iraq war? So what are some of your ideas?

I came up with this idea and I am curious to see what you all think.

We exist on Earth and in our solar system yet when we look at another star we are actually looking into the past. Say for example we see a civilization on another planet some 500 light years away looking back at us with a telescope we are seeing them 500 yrs ago and they are seeing us 500yrs ago from their time for a total of 1000yrs difference.

See Example:

Earth(year 2007)---500 L.Y.---> Alien planet(year 1507)

Earth(year 1007) <---500 L.Y.--- Alien Planet(year 1507)

We would see them as they looked at us, but they would be seeing us during the year 1007 A.D. So our two civilizations could never knowingly exist or communicate with one another at any given point during the same exact time. So are we alone then?

Would you society be a monetary based society?
