What's for dinner?

Since school is out for summer, and I have about one more week before summer school starts, I decided that I was going to spend some time making some of my best meals and dishing up plates for the homeless. If you were going to cook for someone else, what would you be preparing? My menu today is: Baked garlic chicken and dressing with gravy, pork cutlets in cream soup, fresh turnip greens with green onions, tomatoes and pickeled beets, candied apples with cinnamon, fried sweet corn, corn bread, homemade lemon ice tea, hand churned vanilla/toffee ice cream with homemade chunky chocolate chip cookies (the size of your hand!)

Cooking is an exploration if you have that much time and funds on your hands, try some recipies you havent tried before such as brushcetta chicken with angel hair pasta and garlic bread, a lightly tossed ceaser salad w/ chickpeas (garbonzo beans). For desert i would go with something basic because of the acidity in the tomatoes in the brushcetta chicken like a cake or possibly a apple pie or even apple crisp a la mode. to look for recipies try Kraft foods, Olive Garden, Food network and Reccipezzar They are all great websites

I may not be poor, but I'd cheerfully pay for any part of that meal AND wash dishes afterwards. That sounds like a feast fit for royalty!

I'd probably fix baked chicken with barbecue sauce, a big pan of corn bread dressing, a humungous green salad with lots of fresh veggies, a pan of green bean casserole, some candied yams, iced tea, and for dessert, your choice of either angel food cake with fresh strawberries or devils food cake with vanilla ice cream.

I am preparing Rotiserrie Garlic Chicken, with herbed baby red potatoes, steamed broccoli with lemon pepper, casaer salad and brownies. I have 20 requests for this meal.

I hope you enjoy....I know we will!

Sounds tasty, yet you could have fared extra efficient nutritionally with a salad or veggie quite of the cottage cheese, which made the meal protein-heavy. The pineapple could have been sturdy on my own, or with the hen... Cheesecake sounds sturdy, yet too wealthy for me...oh..and did you have coffee? Please say there exchange into coffee for the dessert! i could supply you some 7...yet once you cooked it FOR ME, some sixteen!
