So . . . it's the last three weeks of school and finals are beginning to loom on the schedule. How do/did you deal with the extra stress, homework and studying?

If you have kept to a reasonable rhythm of taking in what you studied throughout the classes, then you will be more confident generally, for you will have developed a good, sharp reflex that provides the intuitive as well as the analytical side of it.

But after all is said and done, you find that some things simply come together in the test setting itself... That is just the way it is.

And of course there are the usuals: keep to a good diet, upbeat people to study with, and get fresh air and do exercises of any sort to offset pint-up energy.

Last, don't get to the final too early. And oh! Be no earlier than 5 minutes before the test itself...

    What you want is spontaneity.

If you stand or sit around too early before the moment itself, that can be a mistake -- you will hear too many people running their mouths on the specter before them -- and that can hang you up and make you even more anxious and counterproductive: it shuts down the openness and intuitive flow between all the things going on within you, which blocks the mind's capacity to do what normally is a piece of cake to do otherwise.

So don't be around a lot of noisy-felt, noisy-minded students. They don't know any more than you do.

Relax, worse things will come. Set achievable goals and believe in yourself. Take breaks and dont forget to drink enough while studying.

well when i was in college we studied together alot, just so we would get it done. then you would take about an hour break every 3 hours or so. go do something fun. and completely forget about finals for that hour. if you study without breaks, you wont retain any info.

Take breaks between every subject and be sure to supply yourself with snacks and dont distract yourself with tempations like TV ect.
