Was it a missed period? Several? Strange cravings? Stomach pains? Persistent nausea? Routine physical exam?

I am writing a story and in it my character becomes pregnant, but because she isn't trying to and therefore isn't paying attention to her body, has no idea. I would like to know realistic hints I can work into my story and how long a woman could reasonably go without knowing.

My family and I will be visiting relatives in the Indianapolis area and we are looking for things to do within an hours drive of there for when we need to take a break. Anyone know of any museums, caves, parks, interesting places we can visit? Some things to keep in mind: part of my family includes a nine year old boy and a teenage so interests vary.

Our Concert Choir is going on tour to San Diego, CA this year and we need some fresh ideas for raising funds (it looks like it will cost $975 per student). We will be touring April of 2008 but we need to start making payments now.

Fundraising we already have lined up:

~ Entertainment books (we get $6 per book we sell)

~ Radio Jazz Hour ($5 per ticket)

~ Silent Movie Night ($5 per ticket)

~ Val-o-grams (buy a singing Valentine for your sweetheart)

~ Candles (traditional but less so than candy)

Anyone have more ideas or know of sites where ideas can be found?

Around my house we have a few squirrels who like our trees. Today I thought I heard a strange noise coming from outside, a "Chk, chk" then a hoarse scream. Looking out my window I saw one of the squirrels clinging to their favorite tree, yelling her head off. Any ideas why?

Something to know: cats got two of her babies last year. Is she mourning the loss of more pups?

So . . . it's the last three weeks of school and finals are beginning to loom on the schedule. How do/did you deal with the extra stress, homework and studying?

For my AP English class we need to write a response on a contemporary opinion essay, any that we can find. My teacher said that there is a website with a collection but I lost the link. Any suggestions?
