G8 summit?So the world hates the U.S. when it interferes.?
Now they hate us because they want us to give them money to fix their screwed up third world nations.
So when do we say enough is enough & tell 'em all to get lost? Why should we help anyone that bites the hand that feeds them? Give one logical reason why we should keep giving them help. I say "sink or swim".

Hopefully to promote world democracy... Not saying its gonna work but that is usually what we are hoping for.

It's not that US interferes but rather how. The attitude shown towards other countries is, well, questionable. Honestly, do you like people who always say: "Hey, look, I'm so much better than you! Why don't you realise?" At least, that's what many people feel. Also if you start to interfere somewhere you can't just stop and leave.
And you can't just ignore the rest of the world, that would directly lead into a new war.
