Merge old address book with new?

I want to merge my saved (to a disk) address book from an XP computer that I don't have anymore to a new lap top that is running Vista. Is that possible? Also, if saved my favorites list for the internet, can I save that to the right place on my new computer as well?? Thanks :)

Update:

Alright, I figured out the address book part, but now I can't get my favorites to do the same thing. I a really starting to not like Vista :)

You can 'export' from your old list and save them to a file. Then you can 'import' them into your new one. I am assuming you are talking about outlook/outlook express?

On your old machine go to: c:\documents and settings\YOURLOGONNAME\favorites and copy that whole folder to your new computer at the same location.
