How can I format a NTSC file system in Windows XP?
I need help. My computer started acting strangly so I wanted to re-install a fresh copy of Windows XP. I ran setup and asked for a full format of the disk thru set-up before the installation. For some reason I got different types of errors and cant get it to run (corrupt kernal, device driver support issues, etc). What I want is to format the disks (I have 2 and windows has run on both at some time) in order to make sure I am starting fresh. I tried the traditional DOS format through a diskette but because I changed to a NTSC file system it wont recognize it. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Sorry, meant to say NTFS not NTSC. My bad

Use the XP CD to make an NTFS (NTSC is a TV system in USA), insert CD with BIOS set to boot from CD, follow prompts to elete and remake partition and install

xp will format it self as you load the os! and it will be NTSF! thats the only chioce...just do a quick format with full install...
