    they key to straightening your hair is a good straightener. Those conair and revlon ones are not the best. I'd get the sedu, or chi.

    Next, you want to make sure that your roots are straight too, and you won't really be able to get that unless you blow dry first (i'm not quite how curly your hair is, so it may be tricky).

    After you blow dry, then you want to section your hair. I normally leave a small section around the bottom of my head, and pin the rest up in a clip. Do that bottom section, then take a small clip, pin it back, and let down another small section, while pinning the rest of the bulk on top of your head.. and so on.

    If you can't blow dry first, then make syre to get as close as possible to your roots when you straighten.. or else you'll get that funky squiggle line.

    If you have really thick hair, it is hard to straighten it all...(I know)...so pull your hair into sections., like part your hair in the middle, then use two secitons on each side. You can take the hair below your ear and above your ear into different sections, as well. That's why I do. As for the back of your hair, from the part, seperate the back hair over your shoulders from the part so that your hair isn't against your back, its over your shoulders. I hope I helped you!

    ciao for now,

    tara =D

    try using Matrix Smooth and Sleek shampoo and conditioner to get any waves out of your hair. then flat iron hair with a GOOD flat iron. (something that is adjustable and goes all the way up to 400 degrees).

    don't forget to protect your hair before you start straightening! Redkens Heat Glide is good, KMS silk therapy plus is amazing. its super light and gives your hair incredible shine. its like biosilk, but not as heavy.

    What straighteners do you use. If they were really cheap they might not be that effective. If possible splash out on some new ones that will do the job better.
