Are you joking? Russia can't wage war. It is a pathetic third rate shell of a nation where a huge number of its women find it necessary to leave the country and make money in the world's oldest profession. It is as if was never a super power.

Just remember, everyone warned that Reagan's strategy would lead to war with the USSR, and instead it produced the most incredible development one could ever imagine: it forced them to give up their dreams of permanent empire and end the Cold War.

What can't Bush do? He can't speak nearly as eloquently as Reagan, but maybe he can transform the Middle East via democracy as Reagan transformed Russia and its satellite nations via a policy that doesn't "feed the bear".

The bigger concern is if Iran gets the capability of making nuclear weapons. They have hated us from the beginning of time and this spells BIG TROUBLE. Bush HAS to do something to prepare for this threat even though I'm not sure his Eastern Europe Missle Shield or whatever he calls it is the answer.

too much cnn i guess. putin is creating a crisis so that when he leaves next year the soviets in charge can have an enemy to justify their military spending. this process of the missle defense has been going on for years.and why is putin targeting europe if it is an American issue? besides russia has more than 2200 nukes at their disposal, what good is ten defensive missles against that. and with todays technology, russia could change targets in flight. and there is their claims of a new icbm that can get by any defense or radar, so they claim. so tell me again how is it that bush is starting a war with russia?

Yes we are plus China also. Yesterday both leaders stated that they had their missile's set straight for the United States. Bush is going to get us all killed if we don't hurry up and get him out of office. We can't beat Russia and China , we have all our troops in Iraq in a war that should never have been.
