you probably should call to confirm that they got your application. don't do it right away though, maybe the next day just as a follow-up. put in a good word for yourself, show positive interest, and be sure to be polite. keep in touch, too. then you'll stick out when they're looking to hire someone. that might even just get you the job.

Just how badly do you want this job? Find out where this place is and I would go there in person to see my status on whether I'm going to get the job. And PLEASE OH PLEASE and I can't stress this enough, DRESS UP! I work at a state funded employment agency and boy ,the people who come in there. They show up as if they were going to the beach instead of looking for work with "the wife beater",shorts,tank tops,"Daisy Dukes',and flip flops. Remember,it's very rare,but sometimes the person who hires just might have some extra time due to a cacellation and may decide to interview you right on the spot.
