mac book 2.16Ghz VS. Powermac g5?

Okay, I am totally confused. I wanted to buy a mac book first, now i want a powermac g5. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO GET! I want the laptop but i don't know about saving up that much. And the powermac g5 has alot of expandability as the mac book doesn't. Please can i have a way to make money, or get over myself about this. I have no way to make money i am 13 and have a very little allowence that dosn't sometimes come. Argh. Please help me i seriously need it. I need a good fight between the two and a way to make enough money before or a little after summer ends. Please help!!

Powermac runs on an entirely different processor ("powerpc") and there will be few programs created for that standard. I'd disagree with you on the expandability, because along with programs, the peripherals will be harder to find as well.

Also, if you want to upgrade to leopard (due out October), you won't be able to on the powermac g5. The prices actually aren't that much different, so I'd go with the more recent technology.

do no longer purchase the G5. Apple has dropped help for percents in Snow Leopard. a clean Mac mini Intel would be upgradable and you may twin boot homestead windows quickly fairly of using a digital gadget.
