As an older person myself, I feel that anyone over 60 should be required to take the test, at least every 5 years; after 70, every year. One of my friends' mother has narcolepsy (can fall asleep at any time, without warning) and still MAILS IN her license renewal, and still drives. She is over 90... and no way should have access to a car, except to ride!

If it have been attainable, i think of all and sundry could retake a using attempt each few years. consistent with my assertion of drivers frequently, maximum do notcontinual besides as they think of and tend to interrupt the regulations. additionally there are fewer Senior electorate using recklessly and in contact with vehicle injuries as an entire than something of the using inhabitants. Distracted drivers and aggressive drivers each create 37% of injuries in 2005. see link

that wont stop the crazies off the road. the cars should have a built in system, where you put in your license like an ATM card, and if you have a series of driving like a mad man, you car will only drive the max of 55.

I don't think it will hurt. It should be a good idea to be re-validated every 5 or 10 yrs.
