What else could I do?
Looking for a little reassurance here.My 10 yr old daughter got caught using IM with strangers(it was set up so she & grandma could IM each other and she got caught because I checked it about 2 weeks ago) I just checked her messenger again and now when someone IMs her she says "Meet me on Star Doll" which I knew she has an account, but didn't realize you can chat on it. I just called my husband about this and he's all for banning her from the computer completely, grounding her, and deleting her messenger and everything she has saved to favorites on the computer.She's a good kid and even though me and my husband have tried to explain that there are crazies out there, I just don't think she understands.I feel guilty for spying on her, but what else could I do?I love my daughter with my whole being, and just want to keep her safe. How should I handle the situation?
