What rule/law at your job do you see as utterly pointless?

my hubby is a storeman in a factory, they have time standards where they work on a timer system and have to bust their @rse to get 100%,

but another rule is SAFETY on the forklifts,

so when u combine the two its very dangerous and people speed around on forklifts to try and get 100% on the clock system

my hubby says someone is gonna die, people have already been run over and hurt, dumb rules

AND HOWS YOUR WILLPOWER GOING?, I HOPE U HAVENT PUT A SMOKE IN YOUR MOUTH TODAY, HUH???????????????????????????????LOL

I work at a hotel and check in is 3:00 but I have to call house keeping starting at 12:00 to see what time rooms will be ready every time someone wants to know.

That we MUST be involved in a company potluck lunch once a month. I know how filthy my coworkers are...why do I want food out of their kitchens? Ew. I take a dessert from a bakery in hopes that they`ll catch on & quit bringing in their home made slop. Fish soup...who the hell takes that to a potluck...

this is actually at school but its pretty pointless.

we have the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade hallways and if your in 8th grade your not allowed to walk down the 6th and 7th grade hallway, etc.

and also in the lunch line you have to go a certain way to get in line. you have to walk next to the walls of the cafeteria.

I have to eat lunch at my desk as not to waste any precious time.

No water or pop at your desk, can't wear sandels, can't leave the building on break, can't wear perfume, need I go on?
