I broke my diet?
I was planning on having a salad for lunch but ended up eating 2 corn dogs...
I need encouragement - will I be able to burn of those corn dogs by walking for an hour or so?

As long as you have been following your diet, 2 corn dogs are not going to blow you up like the goodyear blimp. Consider it your treat for week! You deserve it every now and then.

You would probably have to walk for a day to burn off those corn dogs. But it really doesn't matter. The trick with any diet is to get right back on when you fall off. So you goofed at lunch. So have your salad for dinner. Sometimes it's better to have your big meal at noon and then a light dinner. This way, while you are most active you can burn off the calories that you eat. Then when you exercise you are able to burn off the stored up fat. Either way, a diet is only good if you're able to follow it. Make it too strict and you'll fail every time. Weight Watchers gives the most freedom on any diet. My daughter lost 90 lbs and looks great.

You'll need more than an hour and you'll need more than walking but don't get discouraged- get back on the wagon. Salad can get really boring if you do it wrong so maybe you could find something in between the extremes of a salad and corn dogs...

No. Running for an hour is roughly 500 calories but I'm betting your corndogs were more than that. The best thing is don't dwell on it or beat yourself up too much. Yes you will eat a corndog at times. If you're not on some crazy diet then it won't matter too much in the long run. Eating healthy is a lifelong goal not a short-term destination. Just get back on track.

well i might recommend a run instead of a walk. and its no big deal that you had corn dogs. just stick to your diet the rest of the day and you're good.

keep trying, don't give up!
If you fail you can get up. After trying hard two things can happen:
1. You give up and miss all the fun and excitement of seeing the results of all your hard work.
2. You keep on going and see and taste for yourself the victory of accomplishing your goals!
You decide. I hope you go for number 2.
Never quit quitting! :)
Good luck and good cheers to you! :)

Everyone slips up on diets every once in a while. Just try not to make a habit on it.
