You should wait off until they give you a call. But if they don't call you within 2 weeks then I would give them a call. You should ask for the Manager. When you do talk to the manager then you can ask if you can set up an interview with him or her. And you can ask if he or she went over your resume or cover letter. Good luck.

Applying for jobs online works very well if you have the qualifications and abilities they want and are able to tailor your cv and letter to reflect this. Then online recruiters contact YOU instead of the other way round, which gives you the psychological advantage. The sheer volume is not really here or there - 35 may have applied but the ones that will be contacted are those whose details most closely fit the brief. ]

People usually don't appreciate follow up calls because they get so many resumes.
If you feel you need to, call the theatre and ask for the hiring manager's name and extension, but don't be surprised if they're less than thrilled to hear from you.

no i think you should apply for more jobs as well because applying for jobs online involves a long wait hearning back from them.

I would send a follow-up email with an attached resume further expressing my interest in the company.
