    I am not seeing where any of them turned down an NBA franchise. It came mostly off Abe Saperstein feeling he was slighted by the NBA so he recruited several other people including George Steinbrenner to form the league.

    abe saperstein but who coached the champion pittsburgh team and won titles in nba and aba besides and who was the abl mvp yep connie hawkins but the coach was bill sharman who had player rings too and made free throws plus at usc
