I have been eating really bad lately how can i stop it?

    I'm 13 too..and recently have been eating bad also....the secret to kicking the habit...is well there isnt one. I just started this yesterday..anytime someone offers you sweets or something...Don't take it. Just MAKE yourself say no..and trust me...you will be glad you did...maybe not at the moment...but you will be glad later. instead of eating bad things...just Drink water!!!!!!!! I HATE WATER! i hate water only when i cant drink it like sip by sip cuz then it tastes nasty if i just gulp it down. but ive been drinking water...and it fills u up..and you wont wanna eat anythingelse....i mostly eat cuz im bored. its summer break...so im bored. but just find something to do...who cares..if u dont feel like going outside and being active...then work up to being active..first just work on finding something else to do instead of eating. then u can work on up to actyually going outside and being active in the hot sun. and i live in florida!!! dont watch TV...cuz then u will get bored and wanna eat...even if u are full from the water. i play the piano...so thats what I do....but I can watch TV and not wanna eat...cuz I'm usually drinking water without evne paying attentions to the fact that I'm drinking water. but sometimes i get a craving for something thats bad for me...but i gotta suck it up and just say no. you do the same.

    A REALLY good piece of advice I got that I follow ALL the time is to eat breakfeast. Seriously. It does wonders for your metabolism. Then, eat SMALL meals/snacks every 3 hours. Even if your not hungry. This keeps your metabolism up and running, instead of speeding when you eat something high in fat, sugar, calories, carbs, then CRASH. then Speed, then crash! Eating more regularly throughout the day will help you curb cravings. (It's easier to say no to bunch of cookies if you've already got some yogurt in your stomach).

    Oh, and don't beat yourself up! No one's perfect. And have days where you "treat" yourself, but don't go over-board. And if you do, ITS OK. I hope this helps. Here's a small list of foods I LOVE that taste great but aren't bad for you:

    Frosted Mini Shredded Wheats - I eat them every morning religiously.

    Ben & Jerry's Low Fat Frozen Yogurt Half Baked - only 3 grams of fat per serving (most ice cream has like 17 grams of fat) and it even has cookie dough and brownies in it!

    Yoplait yogurt - so yummy

    its a good starting point because u have found u are not doing the right thing.

    ok, i advise to start a new hobby or activity so that u will not think of eating

    else think of how horrible u might ended with bad eating habit

    ask your mom, or better still be on time for dinner and eat what she cooks no matter how much you don't like it, its good for you... what you need is a well balanced diet, you know liver ,fish, salads and such. if you keep on the road your on now by the time your in your twenties you'll be far to messed up to fix, and it will be even harder for you to get your act together. Wanting to change is the first step, getting off your butt; and doing something about it, is the next.....GOOD LUCK. ONLY YOU CAN DO THIS FOR YOUR SELF...

    just think to yourself that its not healty and you can gain alot of weight from it. if that dosnt work then just buy all healthy food that you like.
