how do you get ink off a suede like couch?
My 2 1/2 year old son thought it would be cute to draw with a pen on our almost new couch. Needless to say that my hubby's idea of using shaving cream to get it off did not work. It is a light beige color so the ink shows up really well, any other ideas? We love this couch and have only had it a couple of months so we really want to keep it looking nice if possible. Thanks for your help. :)

If it's fake suede (ultra-suede), which it sounds like, and it's ballpoint pen (hopefully) then rubbing alcohol should work or at least lighten it. If it's a gel/roller pen, I don't think anything will work.

I have acquired historic ketchup out of the carpet with them and ingrained biro from leather-based. Careful you do not rub off the pile of your sofa. Dab instead than rub - it is going to take longer however be valued at it.
