With the elderly it is always best not to use powder - this will settle into their wrinkles and look terrible! There are foundations on the market that are for older skin, they have the collagen fillers built in that make it look more natural and keep it smooth. I would use peach tones with the blusher and same with the lipsticks, just keep away from any orange based colors. The hair color is not as important as the eye color when doing the eyes - same as any younger person. Use whatever color highlights the eyes and brings that color out, just be sure to go light there. Any eye liner should match the eye color and the mascara I would use would be brown. I have done this for many elderly ladies and they are so very pleasantly surprised that you can, indeed, wear makeup at any age and still have it look natural. That would be the main point - try to keep them looking natural but beautiful! I use a lot of L'oreal products and go heavy on the underbased cream as their skin is usually very dry.

You should apply the makeup for the elderly thinly. No thick makeup or strong colors on eyeshadows. You don't want her to look like she's a slut or wearing a mask! The color on the skin should be as close to her natural color as possible, a light blusher to give some color to the cheeks. When one gets older, lipstick that's too light in color like pale pink or mauve shades are out. They don't look good. A nice red would be good to brighten her complexion but not so bright a red that it would look so "sluttish." Try a lighter shade of red. Eyeshadows should be a light baby blue or light, pale green or light brown. I don't think purple would look good on an older person. Keep it as natural as possible and keep every application light. Hope this works and it helps.

1. CURL lashes..
2.DO NOT use black eyeliner because they make their eyes looks small and make the wrinkles more noticeable.
3.Use light earth tones for edges of the eye. On the lids use a creme/beige eyeshadow, and on the crease a light brown..
4. Line the top lashes with a brown pencil. Don't line the bottom because it will close the eye...or if you want, you can try a white liner for lower inner rim.
5. don't use black mascara... use like brownish tones.
6. wear a concealer lighter than the skin tone...
it can also be use for pigmentation marks.
7. wear a peach blush.
8. Wear lip liner one tone darker than your lips to add definition to the mouth. for lipstick chose paler/nude tones..

Old ladies usually put on ALOT more makeup than they need, in some extravagant color. With reddish brown lipstick, and some old-lady earrings, you'll be good to go!

I'd say all natural colors. you don't want them to go out wearing blue eye shadow.haha. But my grandma use to go to the salon and she come back with beautiful rosy cheeks that make her seem even nicer!

Stick with neutral colors and earth tones. cream foundations, blushes, and eye shadows may look more natural too.
