NO WAY on earth did the social come to your home..NO WAY...they do not do it like that, they drive round in normal cars and they watch benefit fraudsters, then they gather up all their info then they write you a letter and make an appointment to see you, they call you into their office and get you in a room and they interrogate you....so that is a lame excuse that your ex made....there's not a chance in hell that a van came with social written on the side...they are discreet about things like that...your fella has just opted out in a cowardly way....he's too scared to face up like a man..and texting you with a message like that....jeez girl...your better off without him..... what a loser....he's made the whole thing up so he can get out of the relationship and he's just made himself look stupid with that sad excuse he spun you....by the way, have you heard from the social since he left? i bet ya haven't...he's a coward hun, he's either met someone else or he's just tired of being with you...i don't mean that to sound bad either hun, what he did to you is bang out of order and he's a liar....let him rot in his miserable little life...you can do much better.....sorry that your hurting, but he's a sad excuse of a human being....

Is he trying to get you to leave your job? Or is it that he has another house he is claiming housing benefit for and is afraid he will lose it? Where has he gone? Has he found a sinle parent on housing benefit where he can live rent free for a while...Has he gone somewhere else where he can get a better deal, Or is it that he is working on the side and he is afraid he will lose his income support money if he gets caught.-A bit of a long shot but does he feel inadequate because he is not working and you are and there is a wedding looming or is it that what he would like you to believe...Do you think he may be worried that you may lose your housing benefit if he stays and he may have to contribute more to you out of his own pocket or maybe he is thinking of the saving in council tax if he leaves! Or.is the intended wedding just a dangling carrot for you as he made out he had all good intentions..... we would have to have a little more information to give you a more accurate answer but the scenario you have given does sound like things are a little iffy as he will go wherever he is financially better off

Social doesn't have a van, they can't afford it. They can't sho up and take an adult. Look how many times they don't pick up abused children and the children really need to be picked up. If he's not underage, then he's a liar. Due process is the law, even when it hurst the innocent.

I can assure you that DSS fraud investigators do not go around in vans with with "social" on them.

They go around in ordinary private cars. Do you think they are stupid enough to turn up in a marked van, giving people warning and enough time to hide the evidence?
