No, I don't. To be honest, I think it is okay BUT I think it is strange for a man to be vain about his hands... I mean you actually have to make an appointment and/or drive to a salon then wait in the waiting room until the hand person is ready for you... all that time spent for your vanity, it seems VERY effeminate to me.

If it actually had a practical reason to it but I can't see one. It just looks like a guy who thinks too much about his appearance (like men going to tan salons is weird to me too... its okay but if my dad did it I couldn't help but lose SOME respect for him).

But to each his own.

I enjoy a thorough manicure. I find that it takes my mind off the work the stylist is doing as she gives me a Brazilian wax. A man likes to look good too.

I have to say, I workout with people in karate all the time. It's very close contact and I prefer if a man has clean well kept nails as opposed to long dirty nails. You get scratched once in awhile and it's disgusting if they are dirty.

Maybe you should get a pedicure also. That would make you feel lovely.

i know this ones for a guys, but i did know a guy who got monthly manicures and who wasn't gay. he was a 23 year old spoiled brat who drove a bmw, worked in his fathers beauty school as a manager, and who was hella picky about how his nails were to be done.

I don't. I think really rich men do, and gay men do if they are not rich. It could also mean a really perfectionist type of person, or neat freak. It does seem pretty gay in any case though. I would probably never do it, unless my supermodel girlfriend wanted me to.

I don't personally but I know several straight businessmen that do. My ex-girlfriend was in Cosmo school and used to practice pedicures on me but they tickled like hell! LOL
