Well I am at work at the moment so I cant shut these comps down but you can restart it while its being reset push "F8" key it will take you to some weird menu then you want to go into safe mode with network I believe then it will take you into another menu this menu will show your name and then it will show “ADMINASTRATOR” click on that one it should not have a password if this is the first time doing this then your in make a new account erase the account that you cant remember the password and Walla you have you have a new account and you have a new password hope this helps its easier than it seem but its a lot harder writing it down without any pictures so good luck!

yea pretty funny
try this go to safe mode
when u start your computer before the windows logo is supposed to come up keep pressing F8 you should see a menu
press down to select "safe mode"
and press enter
once the computer starts in safe mode you should see a login administrator
that prolly is not passworded so click that and log in
once you log in things will look bigger and messed up
depending on your computer dont worry
there may be a menu that comes up to restore ignore that and close it out
click on start then go to control panel go to users
and from there you can set a new password create a new user or remove the password alltogther so u dont have to forget again
once ur done there restrart the computer using the start menu
and things should return to normal
and the password u set will be your new password
good luck

Well, I don't have a dell so i don't know for sure, but if you go into your main "start" menu can you go to the "help" program and type in "forgotten password" or "changing my password" ...something on that order? I have found answers to many things this way, but never forgot my password.
Goodluck! and make it something you wont forget and keep it somewhere you won't lose it.

Hi, This is pretty funny.. Tie a string around your finger so you will remember. I just hope you don't forget why the string is on your finger. Lol lol. This one is great.
