Paintball/Airsoft gun question?

Hi - I am searching for an airsoft gun that's BB's "splat" into its target instead of bouncing off. We own a lawn and if they bounce back into the lawn someone may get hit by the balls in the ground. Do only paintballs have "splatting" BB's or is there a certain type of airsoft gun that has non rebounding bb's?

PS: I am searching for a gun under $50 and most paintball guns are well over $100 so this is why I'm searching for airsoft guns....

Ive never heard of splatting BBs but there a website called http://www.actionvillage.com/ where you can buy a pump paintball gun if all youre using it for is target practice. they cost like 40$.

Dont listen to stargazer for thi question(al though he is very reliable he pretty much alaways beats me to the better answer.

There are 6mm paintball bbs for airsoft guns instead of 68 cal for paintballs. These 6mm can be messy if not controled. They can run up to 185$ but the cheepest is 2$.

Whatever you do do not put paintball bb's in an electric or gun with hop up as i can jam the gun and break the hop up.

Heres a 2$ airosft paintball gun

    and airsoft paintballs

yes, there are airsoft bbs that are filled with paint. just type in "6mm paintball" in e-bay, or another shopping website and you'll get what you want.

but be warned, airsoft paintballs can break in the barrel and cause a huge mess and damage your gun. they also sometimes don't break on impact.

but good airsoft guns are not cheap. a top-notch one can cost at least 185 dollars, and up to a thousand.

if you're just using it for plinking, than that's okay. but don't expect fantastic results for a gun under $50.

refere to this link for the low-down on what aisoft gun to get (my answer, look for or answerer #1 or "Stargazer"):
