The dietary guidelines recommend no more than 30% of your calories come from fat. You should have around 2000 calories in your diet, depending on your size (more if you're bigger than average) There are 9 calories in each gram of fat, so that's 600 calories from fat, and 67g. of fat (OR LESS!!)

agree with metro man i normally suggest about 15g of fat per main meal so a daily intake of 45g of fat is ideal
