so how do you explain vestigial structures if evolution doesn't exist?

and i've also heard the argument that humans could never come from animals since animals don't have souls. but hey, if god exists, don't you think he'd have the power to give these newly evolved humans souls?

did neanderthals have souls?

just curious is all.

Update:

oh yeah, i definitely believe in evolution as well, i just like to hear other sides of the fence. it's always a good debate.

Update 2:

whales have vestigial structures in them that suggests at one point they had legs, or perhaps extra fins, which makes sense to me.

same way it makes sense to me that humans and primates most likely came from a common ancestor.

Update 3:

well no one convinced me, not even that darwinism "propaganda" website.

Evolution doesn't exist. Just like it is impossible for your computer to evolve with the next greatest program. Our DNA is a code that is hundreds of times more complicated than any type of Window's program. A code has to be WRITTEN so it can be READ by someone. It doesn't just happen.

The question you ask has been answered in a number of ways. Some might say that there are no vestigal structures, and that each presumed such structure is actually necessary and beneficial today and thus not vestigal. Who knows?

Personally I believe in evolution. The evidence for it is great, and it accepted scientific fact. I believe that the tailbone is a vestigal tail, as evidenced from the not unheard of cases of people being born with tails.

How old of a textbook did use for a reference? Humans have no vestigial organs. Tonsils and the appendix have functions that "science" knows about. Just because you can live w/o them doesn't mean they have no function. I can live just fine without a hand or a foot, but does that make them useless appendages? How retarded would evolution be if it gave humans a useless part (appendix) that will rupture and kill you if it got inflamed?

All animals have souls (Hebrew "nephesh") according to Genesis. Humans also have souls.

I personally don't believe vestigial structures are vestigial. I would challenge you to name one.

The example given by another answer of the "vestigial tail" presupposes evolution. If you don't assume we evolved from tailed animals it frees you to explore the purposes of the coccyx.

Survival of the fittest, obviously they were not the fittest since they don't exist any more.
