Where do i buy a scooter?

Question

I live in Minnesota, USA. I want to get a scooter, but i need somebody to point me in the right direction. I dont even know if i should be calling it a scooter. What are some good brands and price ranges? I could care less if it is eletric or gas powered, but if anybody could point out some pros and cons i would appreciate that. 

Also, what is highest speed on the average scooter?

I live in Minnesota as well. I actually buy and sell motorcycles and deal with scooters too. Depending on how much you want to spend a scooter/moped. will go from 25-55 mph, and cost from $800-$2500. If you are around the metro area there are plenty of places you can go. Just look in the phone book or the paper. All scooters are pretty good. Just DO NOT buy one that is made in China. They are very cheap, but they are junk.

I also used to live in Minnesota, and I found a place in Duluth MN called central sales, I bought a 2006 motofino 50cc scooter from them and it was a good buy it was $1,100.00 and it gets well over 80 miles to the gallon. if you want more information on these scooters you can go to their web site it is  www.motofinocycles.com       I am retired and have moved to Texas and I drive my scooter every day.  good luck

you should call that number on tv that has that old lady scootering on the highway..its lifetime guranteed and they do all the processing for you..
