San Antonio Texas?

I'm from San Antonio so let me see if I can help ya out. Mind, I've been out of teh state for the past 7 years (Navy) but I'll see what I can remember.

There's always the Riverwalk. Theres a big mall there and lots of resteraunts and such.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is always fun, and they have a pretty good waterpark there. I worked there as a lifeguard the summer of 99. There's a big wave pool. Plus you have rollarcoasters and such.

Sea World is also a good time if you like that sort of stuff.

If you head up to New Braunfels you can go tubing on the river. It can take a couple of hours to float all the way down and people bring coolers and stuff. Just be sure to put on sunblock or you will get fried like i did! LOL

Sea World San Antonio

I lived in SA for about 6 years, so here is my take on great fun there.

The San Antonio Zoo is good on St. Mary's Street. N. St. Mary's Street also has a few bars and a coffee shop. There are some great restaurants and clubs on Broadway St. There's also a "new" huge megaplex with stores and theater at I-10 and 1604, which is right across from Six Flags over Texas. Leon Springs, just 10 more minutes up I-10 has Rudy's BarBQ (thee best BBQ in TX)and Leon Springs Dance Hall (I used to work there). BTW Me and my husband will be in Texas by this Thursday! 10 days vacation!

Okay, not only do we have the Alamo (watch out for the Guard Cat),we have the Institute of Texan Cultures which is a museum run by the University of Texas@ San Antonio. It has artifacts of all the several peoples who have come to live in what we now refer to as Texas for the last 5,000 years.

How about the Blue Star art gallery on the corner of S.Alamo & Probandt? I was about to suggest going to the Tower of Americasbut they've been having problems with the elevator getting stuck halfway down,lol.

We also have the IMAX Theatre and watch a movie in Sensurround.

I am guessing you get up late and play late, so in the evening hours there is Dave and Busters and there is a new game center on Blanco and West Ave near Churchill High, plus closer to the Northwoods theater, there is an ice skating rink and a putt putt golf and of course lots of window shopping. there is the new Pallidium and forum shopping mall you can go to, and don't forget Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. I don't know anyone that doesn't come back from there having had loads of fun! Otherwise, get yourself a nice pool pass somewhere and just hang out at the pool or stay cool watching videos and reading zines. Summer will be over before you know it and it's back to school or start a job or whatever you have to do next year.

I suggest going to Sixflags Fiesta Texas!! Its got something fun for everyone! When you get tired of that, go to Seaworld. Also, you can do some sightseeing downtown and theres great shopping. You cant have a good time without checking out the Rainforest Cafe down by the riverwalk. If you wanna see a great movie in 3D, check out the IMAX theater. Have fun!!

You can float the Guadalupe river...go see movies, go to the mall, walk the river walk...Six Flags, Sea World, the Zoo.

There is Splashtown or there is a miniture golf course on HWY 151.

If you hurry you will be able to catch the Spurs World Champions parade.
