    Not sure

If it's anything like America you need to get a DM or MD, take a year of intership, optionally apply for a license to practise medicine, then apply to RESIDENT programs.

Gets lots of letters from your Medical School staff.

Have your independent and goup project publications copied so you can submit them.

In American you generally need to do both a group and indy research.

This is like being on an MD's team that is doing a Grant program at the VA Hospital or something like that where you study some problem and publish.

Generally as a team member you get to do something that qualifies your for a solo publication.

In America if the team leader really likes you he'll arrange to get you an MS in something like Bio Chemistry to add to the publication qualifications, since it will probably be published before you get your MD
