Difference between current models of Samsung TVs?
Looking at Samsungs LCDTVs around 26 - 32", I can see the S73 series, the R88 series, the R87 and the N73. The S73 appear to have a lower contrast than the R87/88s, but the N73 seems to be an expensive, up market box. The S has the speakers at the side, ok - but how do they all rank for quality?

The N73 range is an older model, which is why the specs are slightly lower, and the price slightly higher. With competition so high, manufacturers are putting new models out at a much lower price. Ironically, while the older models might not have as many features as the new ones, they're generally made with higher grade materials.

The N73 series of course is the one to buy.....BUT the reality is ALL electronics fail in the course of it's lifetime and need some service. Sony's XBR series is the 'N73" in Samsung's....tighter standards produce more reliability, but more cost upfront since the production fail rate is higher....
I believe the higher quality of the N73 is well worth the money, but don't buy something you cannot afford either.....
