if we ALL are the creation of God, that presumably include devil, but WHY?

Satan was God's right hand man at one time. Satan made his choice to be God, and to want what belong to the Lord. Thus he fell with 1/3 of angels with him.

God gave all his intelligent creation free will, even lesser lifeforms have it though they are restricted by their individual intelligence from doing certain things.

When you see the engineering feats of ants, imagine if the billions of ants had collective intelligence. There would be no bounds on their accomplishments then.

However, free will is the most dangerous of all things given to living beings. Thus the potential for evil exist, but God made nobody inherently evil. He gave all, Satan as well, a good beginning. It was Satan's own selfish desire that caused his rebellion and evil.

For this reason, it is not proper to say that God created Satan. Just as parents raise a child properly cannot be blamed when he turns into a thief or murderer after becoming adult -- similarly, God cannot be blamed for Satan.

He clearly wanted to spice things up a bit, hence the reason he put Capt Temptation in front of them so they could make life interesting.

Imagine how bored God would have been just watching two people running round a garden naked, there is only so much of that anyone can watch before needing to spice it up with something new.

Therefore his thinks up temptation, whacks in a devil, A&E get jiggy, he gets a whole new realm of 'entertainment' to keep him amused.

A&E have C&A and after a while gods boring ant farm of 2 dullards becomes Gods realm of debauchery, mayhem an incest, and everyone is a winner!

Because, without the temptaion of the Devil, we would never have our faith tested and God would have no way to know if we really believe.

Except, of course that God is supposed to know everything, so he wouldn't need the Devil, but, youknow, don't let logic get in the way of a good, money-making religion.

And becca, that is only true if you same the same for God.

Lucifer was the most beautiful angel in heaven. I guess he looked in a mirror too long, and became obsessed with himself, started a revolt, and took 1/3 of the angels with him when he was booted out.
