who thinks that New metallica is not good as old metallica?

I like old metallica better now. When I was first getting into metal all I heard was new Metallica. Now my tastes have expanded and I know that new metallica is just bad.

I prefer Skinny Puppy to Metallica, but yeah, I preferred the old Metallica.

I think anyone who's ever heard old Metallica (Ride the Lighning, Master of Puppets, Kill 'em All...etc) likes it better than the stuff they've been putting out for the last 10 years or so. They used to kick a$$. Not so much anymore.

The last decent album that Metallica put out was Master of Puppets....the Garage Days Revisited EP wasn't too bad either.

Everything else has been utter garbage.

I think it's just self evident. The last album with any real creative relevance, technical and emotional brilliance, etc. was And Justice For All. Anyone who believes that anything Metallica released after that has any merit at all compared to their first 4 albums is fooling themselves.

Metallica is metallica. I feel they have just evolved with the music scene and matured. It is all good.

I agree with almost everybody so far. Metallica hasn't put out a good album since their black album. Load, Reload, S&M, and Some Kind of Monster are all lame.
