Going on vacation with the family to Seneca Lake NY.?
Going on vacation last week of June, we'll be staying near Himrod. What's to do in that area? Also will be spending time in Ithaca. Looking for family activities and family restaurants. I have two sons ages 12 and 15.

Sadly, to tell the truth, there isn't much to do. There are a few resturants and bar type places scattered around that area though. If you are willing to drive around 40 minutes, you could go to a water park in canandaigua called roseland water park. Also, if you drive to Keuka lake which is about 15-30 minutes away, theres a few things more I know about there.
They have a go-cart place at the northern end of keuka in penn yan. As well, they have seneca farms, which is a neat ice cream place about .4 miles away from the go carts. In Penn Yan its self, you can go to a few of the resturants around the town, walk through it, or go down to the beach at Penn Yan's park.
