The first place to look would be among your own friends and family. If you only need the recordings done in English, then it should be pretty easy to guilt-trip a few volunteers into helping you. :) If that doesn't work, try checking around your community for any organizations that often need volunteers and see if they have any volunteers that they could recommend to you.

You could also try using movie clips as well as audio recordings. Sometimes seeing the action on the screen helps promote learning. Try searching YouTube for short clips of people having everyday conversations.

A great place to look is a local voiceover or acting organization. People in those activities are always looking to hone their skills, and this is a great way for them to do that.
