What are your thoughts on Nation Of Islam?

Wallace Fard was the founder of the Nation of Islam; at one point he even claimed he was a prophet. Or some claim he was the Mahdi. He was none of these. Louis Farrakhan is now the leader and he says the only true Muslims are blacks.

They redefine "Allah" by saying "who came in the person of W. D. Fard." Fard was the Moorish Temple representative who founded the Nation of Islam that was then adopted by Elijah Muhammad."

All of this goes against Islam. We are all brothers and sisters. Color does not separate us. The Nation of Islam promotes discrimination against whites. They often refer to whites as the blue eyed devils etc...

According to the Quran and the Prophet Mohammed they would be what we would call hypocrites, liars, disbelievers.

You are right about it being racist. They are futher from Islam even more then the Shiia..

In My opinion I am happy that the African Americans had a leader, had someone guiding them trying to show them the truth in the world. I am disappointed that this Leader, Elijah Muhammad has such a hatred for Whites and taught this to his followers, But there were MANY people that had began with Elijah, Malcolm X being one of them and after on converted to being an actual Muslim, they took on the Quran and went from there.

So, Elijah Muhammad helped many people to evolve into Islam, and he helped the African Americans gain some freedom. Although, I do agree that it was a guise for a Black Supremest organisation we have to keep in mind that it DID help people go to Islam and learn the truth on their own.

Then perhaps you may want to study up on the subject before venturing out to make such radical suggestions and assumptions.

I personally had to purchase a book to use a reference for myself. I had asked a question and obviously offended someone of the Islamic belief by doing so. That was not my intent.

So maybe you could benefit from doing the same?

But then again, what do i know? For i am just a humble Pagan.

The word "Islam" is an Arabic word which means "submission to the will of God "Allah - SWT". This word comes from the same root as the Arabic word "salam", which means "peace". As such, the religion of Islam teaches that in order to achieve true peace of mind and surety of heart, one must submit to Allah (SWT) and live according to His Divinely revealed Law. The most important truth that Allah (SWT) revealed to mankind is that there is nothing divine or worthy of being worshipped except for Almighty Allah (SWT), thus all human beings should submit to Him. The word "Muslim" means one who submits to the will of Allah (SWT), regardless of their race, nationality or ethnic background.

Being a Muslim entails willful submission and active obedience to Allah (SWT), and living in accordance with His message. Some people mistakenly believe that Islam is just a religion for Arabs, but nothing could be further from the truth. Not only are there converts to Islam in every corner of the world, especially in England and America, but by taking a look at the Muslim World from Bosnia to Nigeria, and from Indonesia to Morocco, one can clearly see that Muslims come from many various races, ethnic groups and nationalities. It is also interesting to note that in actuality, more than 80% of all Muslims are not Arabs - there are more Muslims in Indonesia than in the whole Arab World! So though even though it is true that most Arabs are Muslims, the large majority of Muslims are not Arabs. However, anyone who submits completely to Allah (SWT) and worships Him alone is a Muslim.

Malcolm X was maltreated, Humiliated, persecuted, before he became Muslim.. Racism leads to more racism, and the victim of Today is the executioner of tomorrow, Most terrorism, haterd, sufferings, agony that lead the Islam nation to what it is now, is caused by America...
