I am looking for a price for a hydraulic cylinder that mounts to the rear of a Mack New Way trash truck.?

It is used to open and shut the cargo area where the trash is stored. A rough estimate will do. One of my drivers accidentally backed into another truck while the cargo door was open and bent one of the hydraulic cylinders. I went to the Mack Trucks website, as well as many other parts supplier websites to try and obtain prices, but with no luck. Thank you for your time.

a new one can be made out of coal roll, it is a soft metal bar that comes in a variety of sizes. and rather inexpensive. they don't have to be chrome dipped if used daily. have your local machine shop drill the end to mount the piston and weld the old eye on. be careful not to throw sparks on the new shaft for the seals wont hold due to splattering. i have done many of these and have gotten years of service from them.
