How do I mount and burn an application to CD after downloading it?

Running windows XP and I have the latest version of Daemon Tools. I pulled the file off BitLord and now I'm stuck. I need this program badly. Any suggestions? 10 points to the first one to set me straight!

Update:

Sorry - File type is .uif.

If the program you downloaded originally resided on CD, then I'd say you have to get an ISO ready to burn to CD (or DVD). Probably, you have a .rar or a .zip. .rar is like .zip except it will rebuild the folder structure. So, without knowing what TYPE of file you downloaded this is the best advice I can give you. If you got a package, look for a README.txt or readme.nfo. You may have to change the Windows options to see file extensions like the .txt, .nfo and so on. If you have .nfo, it opens with a regular word/text program.

It should come as an .exe file. double click it and it should run fine. But if not, it may be in a compressed format like zip or rar. You should decompress it first.
