in the early 1970s i used to see chopper like trikes. i cannot find anything on them. is there a web site?

Those are all handmade, mostly from parts of wrecked vehicles. There are no factory or dealers that sell them so nobody has a reason to promote them, so there is no good reason to make a trike website. The closest you will get is some good info on the Harley 3 wheel serv-a-car. Some intelligent guys are into those, forget the choppers!

The local motorcycle gang (Los Angeles), in the late 70s and early 80s, used to make those, and other choppers, from the Honda CB750.

Many were built from Volkswagen engines and rear ends with chopper front end welded on.

they r all over the place here in VA...most are HD or honda gold wings..
