What is the meaning of the name Deiriza?
I have a friend whose name is Deiriza and we tried to find the meaning of that name but couldnt get anything so far.
Maybe it's related to Risa (a nice text on this name here: http://reesa.org/society/view1.htm ), or a variation of Daisy, but I am really just guessing this.
btw, the name is spelled: "day-reeza"

It sounds like the word derisive, which means mocking or heckling.
Maybe it is a form of Desiree.
Maybe it is another way to spell and pronounce Theresa.
Ya think.

It is a surname. An actual surname, probably not made up. I don't have any idea about the meaning, but I suspect it may be of Spanish origin.
But the parents who named the baby may not have known of it as a surname. They could have just made it up.

No meaning. If her parents made up the name, then you would have to ask them.
Looks like a combination of Deirdre and Eliza to me.
Deirdre (Dierdre actually) is Celtic for She who chatters. Eliza is a diminutive for Elizabeth meaning God is my Oath.
So, maybe... she who is constantly talking about her relationship with God?
