how come when i sign-in it say your connection to the yahoo messenger serve has been lost?

    If what Wayne said doesn't work, uninstall messenger, go to www.oldversion.com, and install an earlier version of yahoo messenger. Only 7.0 works for me, nothing newer.

    when mine did this it was the firewall that was blocking the connection. i restarted my computer and it reset itself. if not you could try turning your firewall off , logging on to yahoo then restarting the firewall again and it should recenize the path
