I am a married, stay-at-home mom. I have 4 kids. 2 are teens who think they know more than me, one is "gifted" (and does know more than me) and other will finally be enrolled in pre-K this August. If military school took 4 year olds, she would be there instead. I must admit her strong-willed personality has tested me, and I now attend church regularly. I like to think every day I become a better mom, better wife, a better Christian, and a better person in general. We are a family of food lovers. Thankfully, I enjoy cooking. The husband is banned from the kitchen, for the sake of my cookware, and his own well-being, but my young ones are encouraged to join me. I hope I can pass down my love for cooking to them. I try to only give recipes I've eaten myself, or intend on trying soon. I like to think I help someone each day with the advice I give.
Anyone have the slow cooker recipe from the Rachael Ray show?
On yeasterday's show, she made a crock-pot lemon chicken, using chicken thighs, potatoes, lemon, honey, garlic and thyme. Can't seem to find the recipe on her website...did anyone write it down and would be kind enough to share?

My daughter is going to be 2 in 2 weeks, and has an ear infection. The pediatrician gave me amoxicillin for her to take, but she throws a fit every 12 hours. He suggested I hold her nose, since she has to swallow it to breathe, but she just spits it all out first. I've never had a problem with my other 3 children...they all loved the taste. But this child is so stubborn...more ends up in her hair, the couch and her shirt, than down her throat. Any suggestions?

My daughter decided she loves to take off all her clothes, diaper included. Every time I come into the room, she's standing there, butt naked. I even tried to put her diaper on backwards, with the tape in the back, but it only took her 24 hours to figure it out. Did any of you guys have this problem, and how did you get your child to stay dressed?
