Does anyone know of a site that informs us where Obama and McCain stand on different issues?

I'm looking for a wesite that can offer me some info on both candidates, and where they stand on the issues facing this country...possibly a comparison of the two. Anyone know of one?

McCain was smart enough to choose an unenlightened, religiously challenged political novice to run interference for him and settle the question of 'who will take the hilary votes?' Palin was gullible enough to believe she was a good choice.

I shudder to think about her in the first chair.

I wouldn't vote for anyone who wasn't pro-choice, however, I wouldn't vote for someone simply because they were pro-choice. I believe that whether or not a woman has control over her body and the primary life force she is charged with, is not even a point of contention for anyone who isn't looking to control the vote of the right wing conservative bible thumpers that make up a great majority of our country.

The majority opinion doesn't make it the right one, it simply makes it the most vocal.

    barack obama. com

    john mccain.com

The brookings institute would be a good place. To give you a heads up they are saying that mccains plan would explode the deficit by continuing Bush's tax cuts, and add another 5 trillion to debt by 2018. Other researchers say that with his health plan 20 million people would be finding new insurance, and it wont do anything to help those who dont have it.

I would visit their own individual web sites, and copy the material written on the issues and compare them. Sadly when you use a 3rd party site it almost always has a bias one way or the other and you do not get the whole picture (that includes the media sites).

Oh I saw a great one. Give me a minute.

Well, it was on the Washington Post website.

    Gotta go!

Okay, sorry here it is. It shows what all the candidates mention.

They each have websites, read them and compare. That is what the rest of us do.
