Right now, you can treat them with an antibiotic cream and leave them alone - don't pick! Then you have a few options for the next time to avoid ingrowns: Don't do anything to your hair. Trim to a short length but don't shave completely. Get waxed/sugared once your hair is long enough. Shave using conditioner or unscented deodorant, and shave WITH the grain of the hair. As far as I know, it's not recommended to use chemical hair removers on your pubic hair, but I could be wrong.

Those hurt! What works for us is to gently pluck the hair out. Wash the infected area with anti-bacterial soap. Cover and keep washing with anti-bacterial soap. You need also to apply warm cloths throughout the day. I found this information under "boils" at WEB MD. A "boil" may get really bad if it does not get attention. (The bump that occurs with the ingrown hair is considered a "boil". That's why I looked there.)

Whenever you wash your face make sure you use warm water and scrub with a towel to help bring the hairs to the surface, try using a good exfoliant. Mary Kay has great products as far as facial cleansers, the 3 in1 is great.

I experienced a very bad eyebrow threading once and I used Pond's Pore Strips to gently remove those stubborn ingrown hairs.
It's good if you have adequate lighting. I used a halogen desk lamp.

Get a hot cloth, press it on the affected area, and POP that sucker! It'll hurt, but it'll work.

when you get out of the shower & your skin is still soft, put on a good lotion that's for poor unclogging. It worked for me
