    Word I heard this afternoon:

    Effacacious: ef·fi·ca·cious

    adjective

capable of having the desired result or effect; effective as a means, measure, remedy,

Having my answer picked as the best would be most effacacious.

Family words are always esoteric and weird, but here's our latest:

My husband calls our daughters "sweaterpie."

It started with 'sweetheart,' combined with 'sugarpie,' mutated to "sweTHert," and somehow ended up 'sweaterpie' (like the thing you put on in winter and then sit down to eat apples in?).

    He's weird, I know. It's why I love him.
