I will be doing a series of these questions over the next week for you to reply on every pick in the first round, starting with this one: the number one pick. Each day, a different team will be on the clock.

The player will be selected based on the number of votes, the best answer will given to the person who has the best explanation/reason for the pick.

Now it's your turn to select the next pick...

Here is a list of possible players going at this pick:

Arron Afflalo

Rudy Fernández

Gabe Pruitt

Aaron Brooks

Jared Dudley

Aaron Gray

Kyle Visser

Marc Gasol

Sean Williams

Daequan Cook

Marcus Williams

Taurean Green

Update:

Remember the Pistons have already taken Jason Smith with the 15th pick.

Now with delfino gone they will need a scorer and shooter off the bench. The good bet here is to pick Rudy Fernandez who can come in and score a lot of points at any given time. He is what some scouts say the next manu ginobili but that remains to be seen at the nba level. He can finish with either hand and slashes into the paint with reverse layups and soft touches. He runs around and comes off of pick and rolls much like Rip Hamilton so the pistons would love to be able to take Hamilton out of the game and insert a player who can step in and do the same thing while giving the other team headaches. He has good perimeter defense which is something the pistons would love and he plays the passing lanes pretty well. He would be a good fit for a team who needs more scoring off the bench

I'm really surprised that Gabe Pruitt and Sean Williams both are still available in this mock. Given these options, the Pistons would surely draft one of those two since they are by far the "BEST PLAYERS AVAILABLE" and they could use either one. Considering per this draft they drafted Jason Smith earlier, they'd draft Gabe Pruitt. Billups is 30 years old, and would like to be playing more like 30-35 minutes per game instead of his career high 36+ last year. There is no suitable PG behind Billups on the roster.

Having said that, if those two weren't available - the pick is Jared Dudley, no brainer. He isn't as physically talented as Durant, Green, and Brewer BUT:

-He has a higher FG% than the other three

-Had more rebounds per 40 min than Brewer and Green

-Had a higher 3FG% than the other three

-Fewer turnovers than the other three per 40 min

-He gets to the line more than the other three

-AND still shoots 74% from the line

He'd go before Tucker in the real world.

    Jared Dudley

I think he would fit in well with the Pistons. He's a smart player, and although not super athletic, he knows how to score. He's got a pretty good shot and kind of reminds me of a smaller Boozer with more range. He plays with a lot of emotion and just out hustles everybody else. Defensively, he might struggle one on one, but the Pistons play great team D, so he should get plenty of help.

Sean Williams would be a good pick too, but it was clear in the playoff loss to the Cavs that the problem was they couldn't score. Dudley should be able to help that with his hustle and his outside shot.

yeah i trust you. splitter or gasol could probable have been extra advantageous selections. what this implies although, is they are extremely retaining wallace. i assume this does supply them extra intensity offensively, this is something they continually lack. ooops i forgot billups opted out. so extremely this could nicely be an important pass in the event that they are able to't get billups back because of the fact that they have no stable guards in any respect.

As long as there are children or alimony payments involved, divorced couples will need to work together to some extent. Everyone understands that situations change. Fortunately, there are court processes in place to ensure that you and your children are provided for in a stable manner and that both parents can meet their obligations.

The answer to this question is Glen " BIG BABY" Davis you have drafted one spot to high and he's perfect for the pistons because they have older big men coming off the bench who aren't as strong anymore, and Big baby is going to be able to tear it down in the NBA if Glen Davis is still there and the pistons dont take him i will be shocked

Aaron gray becuase they need a big guy since ben wallace left for chicago.
